A Future Led by the Rural
Navchetana is a dedicated organization committed to empowering marginalized and vulnerable communities, particularly Dalit, Adivasi & Nomadic and Denotified Tribes (NT/DNT). We strive to preserve their rights, dignity, and ethnic identity while facilitating their integration into mainstream society. Our journey began in Beed, a district defined by the struggles of its people. Known for its long time migrant sugarcane laborers, brick laborers, recurring droughts, and alarmingly high farmer suicide rates, Beed’s challenges are stark. As we expand our work to districts like Ahmednagar, Osmanabad, Parbhani, etc. we find similar, if not more severe, difficulties.
Our mission is to create a just, equitable, and dignified society for all these communities and more.
Our Programs
We run Navchetana International School, provide Abhiruchi Classes for NT/DNT children, and link vulnerable students to seasonal hostels to prevent migration.
